About: Ede Staal

Born in Warffum and raised in Leens, Ede Staal (1941-1986) captured the Groningen countryside in songs that are still sung and played generations later. Forty years after his death, his voice lives on in living rooms, on church carillons and at the experience centre near Borg Verhildersum.
