Mixed Mesdag: Rarri Jackson — Museum Panorama Mesdag, The Hague

Rarri Jackson presents two works in the Mesdag Halls of Museum Panorama Mesdag, inspired by the oeuvre of Sientje Mesdag-van Houten. The exhibition is part of Mixed Mesdag, where contemporary art enters into dialogue with the permanent collection.

About the venue: Museum Panorama Mesdag

Museum Panorama Mesdag in The Hague is home to one of the largest surviving cylindrical paintings in the world. Completed in 1881 by Hendrik Willem Mesdag, it depicts a sweeping 360-degree view of the seaside resort of Scheveningen. Visitors take it in from a central platform, surrounded by a sculpted dune landscape that deepens the illusion of standing in the open air.
