Since 2011, the AAO has been bridging the classical heritage of Al-Andalus with contemporary music, dance and theatre - performing everywhere from intimate venues to the Concertgebouw. The orchestra took home the 2024 Cultuurfonds Prize and is the driving force behind both the Ud Festival and cultural hub MAQAM.
