Sendebibu

Forsa Ansestral is the Rotterdam stop of Sendebibu on Tour - an evening celebrating Afro-Curaçaoan cultural heritage, ancestral knowledge and transmission.

Sendebibu is an intergenerational platform for Caribbean communities and the diaspora, dedicated to reconnecting with ancestral practices, knowledge and relationships, with a special focus on tambú. The evening shares culture from its true essence - not in diluted or commercialized form.

19:00-22:00 - COMMUNITY PROGRAMME
The first part focuses on connection and learning: a community gathering with libation, creative dialogue, food, screening of Forsa Ansestral and discussion, closing with tambú. Participation is free with RSVP. Note: entry with RSVP is only possible before 20:00.

22:00-03:00 - PARTY
After the community programme, a tambú performance and a night of Caribbean and diasporic sounds follow. Those who arrive before 20:00 with an RSVP have access to the full evening until 03:00 - without an extra ticket.
