Kiki Schippers
In her very first New Year's Eve conference, Kiki Schippers searches for hope amid the rubble of the Schoof cabinet, new geopolitical upheavals, and yet more products with matcha or Dubai in their names. With sharp songs, hilarious impressions, and a razor-sharp eye, she takes stock of the 'new politics' and looks ahead to 2026. The show runs only in December at a select number of theatres.
Schippers has been making satire for the radio programme Spijkers met Koppen for ten years and writes columns on current affairs. In recent years she has toured with the Vrouwejaars across theatres. She has been nominated six times for the Annie M.G. Schmidt Prize for best theatre song, and her show with band made the top 3 of the Poelifinario Kleinkunst for most impressive cabaret performance of the year.
