Rondje Zoet & Zout

Rondje Zoet & Zout combines a carriage ride, a boat trip and a city walk into one route through Vlaardingen and the surrounding area.

The route starts at Hoflaan 78 in the historic centre of Vlaardingen, where you board a carriage that takes you at a leisurely pace through the city and the green countryside of Midden-Delfland. At Vlietzicht you transfer to the historic Vlietlander from 1900, which sails you via the waterways to Maassluis - past reed beds and open water. There follows a guided walk of approximately 30 minutes through the historic city centre and along the tugboat harbour.

Then you board the herring logger VL.92 Balder, a ship over a century old. From the Waternetsteiger you sail via the Nieuwe Waterweg back to Vlaardingen's inner harbour.
