Bunch of Bastards (Slag om Grolle)

Bunch of Bastards (BoB) place themselves in the tradition of bands like The Pogues, Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys - and perform a number of songs by these heroes, supplemented with Irish traditional music. But independent enough to bring their own work as well. The band describes their sound as 'full force folk': melody and energy, carried by a half-Irish singer, banjo, mandoline and accordion on a solid folk-punk foundation. Sometimes restrained, more often exuberant - and always thirsty.
