Legends, Music and Wine from the Mountains of Northern Italy

At Splendor, centuries-old folk tales from Valtellina and the villages around Lake Como come to life - a mountain region steeped in myths and legends. Peter Prommel and Hanneke Metselaar recount stories of love, spirits and extraordinary encounters, based on tales collected and translated from Italian by Ruud Metselaar.

Between the stories, pianist Antonii Baryshevskyi and mezzo-soprano Ai Horton perform music by Domenico Scarlatti and Barbara Strozzi. Valtellina wines are available at the bar and can be brought into the hall.
