Oene van Geel is a Dutch viola player and improviser working at the intersection of jazz, contemporary classical music and free improvisation. He also plays trombone and is known for his searching, expressive sound. Van Geel collaborates across a wide range of ensembles and is a resident musician at Splendor Amsterdam.
