Alexander Kashpurin (1996) is a pianist with a distinctive voice: intense, poetic and technically brilliant, but above all deeply expressive. From the raw energy of Stravinsky to the profundity of Bach - his playing always sounds lived-in and thoughtful.

At the Pianola Museum he performs his third Meta Opus: THE TEMPTATION OF BEAUTY, complemented by several Chopin ballades.

The Pianola Museum in Amsterdam holds one of the world's largest collections of pianolas and mechanical pianos - over 130 instruments and tens of thousands of music rolls. Concerts are held regularly in the atmospheric canal-house setting, with the historic instruments actually played rather than just displayed. It paints a vivid picture of popular music culture around 1900.
