Band Night: Abyss + Sumire

Abyss is a gothic metal band from Weert featuring heavy riffs, soaring vocals and fast-paced drums. Drawing inspiration from Epica, Within Temptation and The Gathering, they perform both covers and an expanding catalogue of original songs. Their shows are energetic - the guitarist regularly dives into the mosh pit.

Sumire hails from Limburg and formed at Vista College in Heerlen. The band plays modern rock with post-grunge and alternative influences: raw riffs, melody and emotion fuelled by personal experience.
