Pitou (Any Minute Now!)

Pitou broke through in 2023 with Big Tear, an album that earned widespread acclaim and appeared on multiple year-end lists. Her sound is rooted in classical choral singing, with influences from African and Indian music - a combination that results in a distinctive style of characteristic vocals, original melodies and poetic lyrics. She produces her own music and is closely involved in the visual side of her work.

On her second album P2, Pitou seeks greater freedom and experimentation. The record moves from euphoria to melancholy and translates that into an energetic, danceable sound, with tracks ranging from exuberant and chaotic to dreamy and grand. The approach is deliberately intuitive and DIY, with spontaneity as the guiding principle - complemented by playful visuals.

Where music was previously a way for Pitou to process difficult moments, on P2 it becomes a companion to all the emotions and experiences in life.
