
Pitou (Any Minute Now!)
Pitou performs her album P2, an experimental work moving from euphoria to melancholy with danceable tracks and poetic lyrics.
Pitou (full name Pitou Nicolaes) is an Amsterdam-born singer-songwriter who grew up steeped in classical music and sang for years in the Dutch National Children's Choir. Her debut album Big Tear (2023) earned widespread critical praise and brought her to major Dutch festivals. In March 2026 she self-released her second album P2, a more expansive and experimental follow-up co-produced with Antwerp-based artist Youniss Ahamad.
Pitou released her second album P2 on March 20, 2026 independently, with eleven tracks and co-production by Antwerp-based artist Youniss Ahamad.
Pitou was appointed Artist in Residence 2026 at Gebouw-T in 's-Hertogenbosch, where she developed the production preparations for her P2 tour.
Pitou toured through the Netherlands with Naaz and Luwten as part of the Collage Tour, with a performance at PAARD in Den Haag on June 13, 2025.
Pitou won the Pop Stipendium from the Cultuurfonds in January 2024, a development grant of € 10,000 that she invested in the creation of P2.
