Introdans - Swan Lake — Kerkewijk 10, Veenendaal

Introdans presents the classical ballet Swan Lake in Veenendaal on Saturday, 3 October 2026. This is one of six Dutch performances where the company stages Tchaikovsky's celebrated work this season. Following Veenendaal, the tour continues to Almere, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Groningen and Zutphen. The production pairs the iconic score with the ballet's narrative, as dancers embody the tragic romance between Odette and the prince.

About: Swan Lake

Tchaikovsky wrote his score in 1875-1876, yet it was the 1895 Petipa-Ivanov choreography that turned the work into a global phenomenon. Rudi van Dantzig's Dutch version - with Toer van Schayk's vivid folk dances in the third act - has been a cornerstone of Dutch National Ballet's repertoire for decades.
