Monty Franklin

After sold-out shows across Australia, America, Asia and Europe, Monty Franklin returns to Rotterdam for one night with his show 'Is That Your Mate'.

Monty Franklin is an Australian stand-up comedian and actor based in Los Angeles. He has toured more than 40 American states and performed for over a million Americans. His online videos about life as an Australian in America have accumulated more than a billion views. He has also performed alongside Rob Schneider, Joe Rogan and John Cleese, and was a guest on episode #1794 of The Joe Rogan Experience. As the first Australian, he had his name placed on the wall of The Comedy Store in Hollywood.

On television, Monty has appeared in 'Real Rob' (Netflix, seasons 1 & 2), 'New Girl' (FOX) and 'Becoming Bond' (Hulu). In Los Angeles, he regularly performs at The Improv Comedy Clubs and The Laugh Factory.

He is currently working on his first feature film, THE GREAT EMU WAR, which he co-wrote with Rob Schneider and John Cleese. Filming in Australia is scheduled for 2027, with Rhys Darby and Jim Jefferies also in the cast.
