Luwten - BRUT & Burgerweeshuis present

Tessa Douwstra, the Rotterdam-based musician behind Luwten, returns with new work following a series of nominations and positive reviews. Her music moves between electronic and acoustic sounds, and her new single "open broken" demonstrates this well: a quiet, tense build-up that evokes the moment just before an orchestra enters.

2026 marks Luwten's "slow follow" programme - a series of intimate, multidisciplinary concerts where experimentation and the unexpected take centre stage. Each evening has its own character.
