EEK-A-MOUSE + JAHVOLUTION - Rude Boy Jamaican

The Mouse is back! On Friday 13 November, BIRD x Annabel and Reggae.Party present an evening of classic reggae, dub and dancehall at Annabel in Rotterdam.

Eek-A-Mouse, born Ripton Hilton in Jamaica, broke through in the late 1970s with his singjay style and became one of the most recognizable voices in reggae. His distinctive high voice, playful flows and characteristic "biddy beng-beng" vocal style earned him a loyal fanbase worldwide, with classics such as "Wa-Do-Dem", "Ganja Smuggling", "Virgin Girl" and "The Freak".

During this show he will be accompanied by the Jahvolution Band. Expect deep basslines, live reggae and plenty of room for humour and improvisation.
