The Berlage Saxophone Quartet performs on Wednesday, 16 September 2026 in Amsterdam. This date is one of seven Dutch performances the ensemble has scheduled across the Netherlands this year and next. The group presents saxophone music at various venues throughout the city. Alongside performances in Hilversum, Rotterdam and 's-Hertogenbosch, as well as additional Amsterdam dates, the Berlage Saxophone Quartet brings an extensive concert series to Dutch audiences.

About: Berlage Saxophone Quartet

Founded in 2008 at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, the Berlage Saxophone Quartet performs classical and contemporary repertoire in productions that bring together music, theatre and visual art. The multiple award-winning quartet is now based in 's-Hertogenbosch.

The Berlage Saxophone Quartet has been performing in a new line-up since autumn 2025: Eva van Grinsven switched from the baritone saxophone due to the physical strain of the instrument.

The premiere of the new theater production 'Het Visioen van Berlage' - together with cabaret artist Vincent Bijlo - took place on 4 March 2026 at Theater aan de Parade in Den Bosch, followed by a tour through several Dutch cities.

The quartet moved from Amsterdam to 's-Hertogenbosch and celebrated this on 8 December 2024 with the first edition of the Berlage Saxophone Quartet Festival at Theater aan de Parade.
