Daraa Tribes

Daraa Tribes comes from Daraa, the world's largest palm valley, and tells the story of their people and culture through music. Each of the five band members belongs to a different tribe and brings their own musical tradition - making the band's sound instantly recognizable.

Influences from Gnawa, Sahrawi, Amazigh, Reggada and Ikaaba blend into an eclectic sound you won't hear anywhere else. The band sings in Tamazight, Hassaniya and Darija, reflecting their multilayered cultural identity. They have previously performed at festivals including Afrika Festival Hertme, Shambala Festival and Water&Sound, as well as numerous festivals in their home country Morocco.
