About: The Afghan Whigs

Forty years on from their founding, The Afghan Whigs sound as sharp as ever. The Cincinnati band's blend of soul, post-punk and R&B - driven by Greg Dulli's unmistakable voice - has carried them from the 1990s alternative scene well into the present, with new album Soft Control (2026) as their latest statement.
