Midnight presents The Locals: W/ Lovefoundation, Koudvuur & Smokeshed

Midnight presents The Locals is a free club night dedicated to progressive techno, featuring three Maastricht collectives: Lovefoundation, Koudvuur and Smokeshed.

Koudvuur is a community-driven platform that creates a space to dance and express yourself, with a programme ranging from forward-thinking techno and electro to underground breakbeat and bass music. Rooted in a love for contemporary electronics, Koudvuur continues to explore sound and identity with a distinctive South Dutch character.

Lovefoundation is a collective of volunteers and artists that organizes events to bring people together and raise money for water projects. The organization has its roots in Maastricht, but has love hubs spread across the world.

Smokeshed is an electronic music collective with a preference for underground sounds and unusual venues - from intimate halls and cultural centres to caves and forgotten spaces. The music moves between minimal, hypnotic sounds and faster styles such as hardgroove and breakbeat. Originally rooted in the Maastricht underground scene, the collective has since expanded to Latvia, leading to a cultural exchange between artists and audiences in both countries.
