The 67-metre-high Oude Kerk Tower is Amsterdam's oldest viewpoint and houses the last remains of the city's earliest history.

About the venue: Oude Kerk

The Oude Kerk is Amsterdam's oldest surviving building, founded in the early 14th century on a small island in what is now the city centre. For decades the Gothic church has doubled as a venue for contemporary art, photography and music - including classical concerts and the annual World Press Photo exhibition. The tombstone-covered floor and historic organs make for a striking backdrop to its modern programme.
