Vincent Ruijters - Crimson Gilt

For Crimson Gilt, artist Vincent Ruijters created an installation of textile strips that evokes the illusion of the sunken VOC ship the Amsterdam. The route the work follows mirrors the sailing route that many VOC ships took, passing Japan and Indonesia.
