On Saturday, 14 March, the National Museum of the Eighty Years' War opens the exhibition Close to War, which brings the war in Ukraine closer to visitors both literally and figuratively.

About the venue: Nationaal Museum Tachtigjarige Oorlog

The Nationaal Museum Tachtigjarige Oorlog in Groenlo focuses on the Eighty Years' War (1568-1648) through the lens of the sieges of Groenlo itself. The town changed hands several times between Spanish and Dutch forces, making it a key site in that conflict. The museum pairs historical artefacts with interactive displays to bring the period to life.
