Description was written before the event

In this workshop at Museum Het Schip, you will learn step by step how to create your own ex-libris.

An ex-libris is a personalized bookplate or stamp that marks the owner of a book. During this hands-on session, you'll design and craft your own unique stamp to take home.

About the venue: Museum Het Schip

Museum Het Schip is housed in the landmark 1921 housing block of the same name, designed by Michel de Klerk and considered one of the finest examples of Amsterdam School architecture. The museum covers the history of this expressionist movement and the social housing ideals behind it. Visitors can explore the permanent collection, temporary exhibitions, and a restored caretaker's lodge.
