Breakin' Convention

Breakin' Convention, the international hip-hop dance theatre festival by Jonzi D, runs from 12 to 15 November 2026 in Rotterdam. For four days, the city becomes a meeting point for hip-hop culture: from theatre and spoken word to battles and DJs.

The festival takes place across three venues - Nieuwe Luxor, Theater Rotterdam and Theater Zuidplein - where international crews and local talent come together. Alongside the performances, there are jam sessions and workshops.

This evening features a varied programme at Nieuwe Luxor, with acts in breaking, waacking, hip-hop and krump.
