Gert-Jan Mulder, performing as Brainpower, conquered the Dutch and Belgian charts in the early 2000s with his Dutch-language rap. His 2001 debut 'Door Merg & Brain' is a landmark in Dutch hip-hop, and after more than a hundred singles he remains a regular presence on stage.
