Jeangu Macrooy: ZO LANG IK BLIJF DANSEN Album Presentation

On Saturday, May 22, 2027, Jeangu Macrooy presents his first Dutch-language album 'Zolang ik blijf dansen' with a release show in the MAX at Melkweg.

Born in 1993 in Paramaribo, Jeangu works with pop, soul, folk and indie in his music, addressing both personal and social themes. The inspiration for this album emerged during his participation in 'Beste Zangers', where he discovered Dutch as a new musical language. The album is released in spring 2027.

Beyond his music career, Jeangu has also worked as a musical theatre actor in recent years - including as Jesus in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and as Orpheus in 'Hadestown'.
