The Tangent is a British band led by keyboardist and composer Andy Tillison, blending progressive rock, jazz, and electronic music. Known for ambitious, often conceptual albums and dynamic live performances, the band draws inspiration from classic prog acts like Genesis and King Crimson.

The Tangent performs live at De Cacaofabriek in Helmond.

About: The Tangent

For over two decades Andy Tillison has steered The Tangent through sprawling jazz-prog epics and politically charged lyrics, rarely clocking in under ten minutes. The band has performed in the Netherlands before and releases their fourteenth studio album 'Was' in October 2026.
