About the venue: Volksbuurtmuseum

The Volksbuurtmuseum in Utrecht focuses on the history of the city's working-class neighbourhoods, especially Wijk C. Through personal objects, photographs and first-hand accounts, it paints a picture of everyday life for labourers and their families in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The museum is small in scale and regularly hosts temporary exhibitions and community events.
