About: Toontje Lager

The Wageningen nederpop band Toontje Lager earned gold albums and the Veronica Award in the early 1980s, with sing-along classics like 'Stiekem gedanst' and 'Net als in de film' still firmly in the collective memory. Frontman Erik Mesie now leads a renewed lineup, mixing those timeless hits with tracks from the 2023 album 'Waar gaan we heen'.
