Belgian indie rock band ILA won Studio Brussel's De Nieuwe Lichting award in 2022. With Motherland, the follow-up to their debut Ayna, the band around frontwoman Ilayda Cicek sounds bigger and more ambitious than ever.

The new album was recorded with producer Mikko Gordon, known for his work with Idles and The Smile.
