Description was written before the event

BCUC (Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness) hails from Soweto, South Africa, and plays indigenous funk with hip-hop consciousness and raw punk-rock energy.

BBC Radio 1 DJ and label boss Gilles Peterson called them "without a doubt the best live act I've ever seen" - reason enough to catch them at Luxor Live in Arnhem.

About: BCUC

Out of Soweto, BCUC fuse indigenous funk, hip-hop and punk-rock into music that is at once politically charged and deeply spiritual. The seven-piece band performs in eleven languages, pulling audiences into a collective trance on stages from Glastonbury to Roskilde.
