The Mosa Jazz Collective - Limburgian jazz musicians - opens the "Mosa Jazz Lab" concert series with new collaborations and experiments. On 15 October, the series kicks off with a tribute to Thad Jones.
Under the title "Thad Jones and more", classics from "The Book of Thad Jones" sound alongside original repertoire from the soloists and the collective. For this evening, two guests have been invited from the Danish Radio Big Band (DR Big Band): Ari Braggi Karason and Petter Hängsel. The traditions of Thad Jones continue to thrive in that band.
