Kiiōtō

Lou Rhodes, known as co-founder of Lamb and Mercury Prize nominee, and pianist-songwriter Rohan Heath debuted together as Kiiōtō in 2024. On 29 October they perform at Muziekgieterij with Black Salt, their second album.

The record moves between jazz, broken beat and soul, exploring themes of narcissism, social media, loss and searching for ancestry through DNA tests. Guitarist Hawi Gondwe (Amy Winehouse) and drummer Mykey Wilson (Corinne Bailey Rae) appear as guests on the arrangements.
