Jazz For Lunch: Novum Organum Trio

Jazz For Lunch is a series of free lunchtime concerts organized by Muziekgieterij together with Conservatorium Maastricht. Each edition features a group of talented conservatory students performing their own work on stage.

This edition showcases the Novum Organum Trio: a Dutch jazz trio centered around the Hammond organ. The organ handles both bass and harmony, requiring the three musicians to coordinate closely. Inspired by artists such as Joey DeFrancesco, Wes Montgomery, and John Abercrombie, they alternate between their own compositions and well-known jazz standards - no two concerts sound the same.
