For forty years Huub van der Lubbe wrote the lyrics that made De Dijk great; now he takes the stage alone, delivering songs, poetry and stories with even more directness than the band allowed. Together with pianist Jan Robijns - his musical companion since 1976 - he tours with the show 'Neem het licht'.

Van der Lubbe performed as a soloist at the New Year's concerts of Amsterdam Sinfonietta with the program 'Against Time', where he wove his own songs and hits by De Dijk with classical repertoire.

Van der Lubbe performed Jacques Brel's 'Amsterdam' together with Amsterdam Sinfonietta at the Prinsengracht Concert 2025, as a preview of the later New Year's concert collaboration.
2026
For 2027, Van der Lubbe has announced a new theater tour with pianist Jan Robijns under the title 'Take the Light', where they will travel through Dutch theaters with songs and new work.
