How did we end up here?

On 29 September, Theater Utrecht hosts the conversation "How did we end up here?" with Julian Hetzel, Prof. Dr. Maaike Bleeker and Dr. Patricia de Vries. The focus is on the relationship between thinking and action, process and performance, politics and imagination.

The programme is rooted in the ongoing research project "Der Lauf der Dinge", a collaboration between Studio Julian Hetzel and theatre scholar Prof. Dr. Maaike Bleeker. They follow, investigate and question the movements of artistic thinking: how ideas emerge, collide with each other, change form and ultimately become theatre.

The evening takes the audience into the mechanism of artistic research, where each question inevitably sets the next one in motion.
