Ten years ago, René Oskam left his office job behind. "You can't make a living from poetry," he was told - but continuing as he was felt like slowly dying. In his jubilee tour, he looks back on that decade.

In a hybrid form between cabaret and poetry, he shows what really happened: nights filled with endless ideas, periods when the page remained blank, the euphoria of sold-out venues and his worst performance ever. 'Caroussel' is a raw, honest and hilarious ride full of poetry, satire and sharp observations.
