BRUTUS (Dialect Rock)

Brutus is a four-piece band from the Achterhoek region who write and perform their own songs entirely in the local dialect. Their music draws on rock, blues, and soul influences, with lyrics exploring politics, love, and life in the Achterhoek. The band members - Richard Immink (vocals & drums), Sjonnie Vriesen (vocals & bass), Peter van Rijssel (vocals & guitar), and Marcel Elsinghorst (vocals & guitar) - grew up with rock and rock-'n'-roll. This performance marks the debut of their new drummer, a conservatory graduate. The band previously recorded a demo in their own rehearsal space and members have played with groups including De Zeute Dröpkes and De Zwolse Rockers.

Advance tickets are available online for € 6.50 (excluding service fees, including VAT and Buma/Stemra fees). Door tickets cost € 10.00 while supplies last. Tickets are transferable by name; refunds are only available if the show is cancelled. In case of cancellation, the band will first seek an alternative date and purchased tickets remain valid.
