Chapter 58

Chapter 58 is a group exploring open-form improvisation, where movement, text, and sound/music converge. Each performance is unique: there are no fixed scores or predetermined outcomes, and what emerges on stage is shaped by the performers, the space, and the audience of that moment.

The performances consist of a pre-assembled playlist inspired by the title, improvised movement and text, and live-generated soundscapes created with a loop station. The work moves between the raw, the absurd, the intimate, and the unexpected.

Chapter 58 was founded in 2025 and has since presented the performances Chapter 1: Let's Perform, Zwarte Koffie AUB, Loops I Did It Again, Not All My Demons Are My Enemies, and Once in a Blue Moon at the Dijktheater in Amsterdam.
