The Hague Guitar Xperience: Leif De Leeuw, André Nieri, Martijn van Agt & more

The Hague Guitar Xperience takes place on Saturday, 3 October at Musicon in Den Haag. Doors open at 12:00, the programme starts at 12:30 and runs until 23:00. The event is organized by Ready To Play in collaboration with Musicon and Max Guitar.

The daytime programme features guitar clinics and masterclasses, interactive workshops for all levels, a Pedals & Sound Experience, pop-up spaces with guitars, amplifiers, pedals and accessories, a Guitar Quiz with prizes, and jam sessions. In the evening, André Nieri closes the event with a live concert - this concert is included with the Guitar Xperience ticket. Those who wish to attend only the evening concert can purchase a separate ticket.

Performing artists:

Leif de Leeuw is a guitarist from the Den Haag region and leads the Leif de Leeuw Band, Europe's largest Southern jam band. He has been named best blues-rock guitarist of the Benelux nine times in a row.

Martijn van Agt is considered one of the most sought-after session guitarists in the Netherlands. He once described himself as a percussive guitarist - someone who uses few notes but deploys each one functionally. Known for his work with Ilse DeLange and his Humble Heroes session.

Inge Lamboo is a guitarist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed at Paradiso and Lowlands, among others, and collaborated with Pete Townshend of The Who - a partnership that arose from a single viral video. She has also performed in England, Denmark and Ireland.

André Nieri is a Brazilian guitarist, composer and teacher, born in 1986 in Mogi Mirim. He studied jazz and Brazilian music at the Tatuí Conservatory and is internationally recognized for his technique in fusion, rock, jazz and Brazilian music.
