Food & Music from Holland: Hakkûh & Prakkûh Edition

Food & Music from Holland is back! Each edition celebrates a different country with a dinner inspired by local cuisine and live music as dessert. This time we're staying home - because what is the Netherlands famous for? Hakkûh & prakkûh.

The evening revolves around gabber culture: a quintessentially Dutch tradition that may not be in the history books, but runs deep in our cultural memory. No fancy dinner with careful knife-and-fork etiquette, but a hearty mashed potato dish from our hacking and mashing chef.

After dinner, C-Town Maniacs and OK SJON! bring their records for an evening of hardcore - from early hardcore to raw rave. The tables are pushed aside, plates make way for the dance floor, and Air Max trainers come off the ground.

C-Town Maniacs is a DJ duo of two brothers with a shared love for hardcore. With a preference for the raw millennium sound and an impressive vinyl collection, they bring classics and forgotten gems from the golden years of hardcore.
