Saxophonist Mete Erker presents with his ensemble Trio + 1 a double album about identity and the poetry hidden in the cracks of a 1970s Vinex neighbourhood: Tilburg Noord / Tilburg B-side.

The music on both albums combines personal stories with improvisational freedom - moving between restrained passages and energetic outbursts. Stylistically it situates itself in contemporary European impressionism, blended with the free, extroverted jazz of Albert Ayler and Charlie Haden.
