Fanfare Ciocărlia

Fanfare Ciocărlia is a ten-piece brass band from the Balkans, renowned for their Eastern funk, breakneck rhythms, and a brass sound that has turned concert halls and festivals upside down worldwide. No other brass band plays as fast - or sounds as different.

The band has released ten albums, several of which topped European World Music charts. Their DVD Brass On Fire was described by Songlines magazine as "a new standard for music documentaries". With over 3,000 concerts behind them, they now take the stage at GROUNDS Rotterdam.
