Jeanne has deliberately chosen a life without children. That balance is disrupted when her estranged sister Suzanne suddenly appears at her door with her two young children. The next morning, Suzanne has vanished - without explanation, and without the children. As the search for her yields nothing, Jeanne reluctantly takes care of her nephew and niece, confronting questions about family, responsibility, and the future she had planned for herself.

The film premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where it won both the Best Director prize and the FIPRESCI prize for Best Film.
