Tomesh Beumken & Emma van Puffelen

In "Wilsbekwaam", Tomesh Beumken sketches a portrait of a caregiver in disability services who must navigate between humanity and spreadsheets. The cabaret show explores passion, pleasure, and the (im)possible choices that come with it - and asks who is truly capable of making their own decisions.

Emma van Puffelen is known for being disarming and authentic. She stepped on stage for the first time in 2023 without a theatre background and won the Comedians Comedian award at the Comedy Talent Award in 2024. In 2025 she became a regular at Comedyhuis in Utrecht and reached the final of the Amsterdam Student Cabaret Festival.

Her humour is vulnerable where it needs to be and light-hearted where it can be - but she can also just have a good laugh. What exactly happens when she opens her mouth, you never know beforehand.
