Nederpunk

On 9 October, three Dutch punk bands take the stage at De Piek in Vlissingen: Dikke Dennis & De Røckers, Waardeloos and De Stoeptegels.

Dikke Dennis & De Røckers play punk, sleaze rock, hard rock and rock 'n' roll. Frontman Dennis delivers lyrics from his own life and Dutch-language covers of songs by The Dead Boys and The Wipers, among others. Expect humour, chaos and plenty of beer.

Waardeloos was founded in 2003 by the ten-year-old Micky Breijer and Tommy Kennedy, then the youngest punk band in the Netherlands. Their Dutch-language punk is fast, raw and direct, with crowd favourites like 'Ik Haat Het Hier' and 'Kaas in de Aanbieding'. A reviewer described their latest album as 'delightful mess'.

De Stoeptegels are a Dutch-language party grindpunk band from Eindhoven. They combine punk with crude singalongs and self-mockery, enhanced by striking outfits and hard-hitting lyrics. Beer, mosh pits and solid punk are guaranteed.
