Mark Lotterman combines poetry and music, drawing on raw emotion and literary influences. He began as an accompanist to Simon Vinkenoog and developed into a distinctive voice in the Dutch music scene.
His lyrics are compelling, his sound characteristic - somewhere between indie, Americana and spoken word. In his recent Dutch-language work, he sounds more personal than ever: stories, observations and sharp edges.
