Early James

Early James is a 33-year-old American singer-songwriter who sounds like he carries a lifetime of music history with him. About seven years ago, he was discovered by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, who signed him directly to his Easy Eye label and produced his debut album Singing For My Supper (2020).

Since then, two new albums have appeared on the same label: Strange Time To Be Alive (2022) and Medium Raw (2025). Expect a rocking mix of blues, country and folk.
